March!!!

March! Its March already....Can you believe that? Have you ever sat down and thought about all the things the year 2000 was going to bring? How different the 21st century was going to be? How accurate were your thoughts? Were you dead on or way off?



As the time flys, I try to think back on how I thought things would be now and to be honest..Like most people I was way off. Now I didnt expect us to be in flying cars like the jetsons, but I was hoping we would of been further along with the Hybrid technology, thats for sure. I was hoping that our society would be one of unity and hope. But I dont get the feeling that it is... Things have actual gotten worst since the turn of the millenium, wouldnt you agree?



Our country for obvious reasons, has essentially been run into the ground, our economy is getting worst everyday, our poverty rate has quadroupled, our education system is laughable, unemployment is at an alltime high and our healthcare, WHAT HEALTHCARE!!!! Did we see this coming? No! No one saw 9/11, but the Govt and yet they did nothing, but use it to fuel hate within our hearts for people we dont even know. Essentially turning us into the very people, we dispise. People who essentially, we've made their lives worst than it was before. No one saw Katrina or Rita coming, no one could predict the damage they would create. But dosent it bother you that the Govt took 5 DAYS! To get water to the Superdome! Take a step back and picture yourself in the Superdome, hoping and praying that help was on the way, now imagine 1 day goes by and nothing. then 2 days, then 3! But Hey Mardi Gras, was unbelievable this year!!!



There was a writer strike a few weeks ago, that halted the production of alot of TV shows. Now I understand what the writers are getting at, but I also, thing we as a public should have the right to get better material. The TV shows are horrible.....What happened to all the witers from Seinfeld? Hell hire them, because honestly, thats the last time TV was worth watching. American Idol is yet again the number 1 show in America! American Idol? Quick, name the winner of season, 3 or 4... Didnt think so... Give us some substance, something to look fwd to something that I wont feel as if I just lost 30 mins to an hr of my life watching something with absolutely no premise for the simple fact that its on TV.....Is that to much to ask?



Now I would hate for this to come across as me pointing out all the negatives, b/c there have been some great strides in Medical research, we've gotten a better understanding about the effect we have on the enviornment, Bill Gates, is using Billions to make a difference in places that have no OIL, Warren Buffett is now the riches man in the world, the food in England isnt the worst in the world anymore, I would have to say Iceland took the crown. Im sure theres more, but thats all for now.
